General Pest Control
in NE Georgia
Ongoing protection that keeps pests out instead of chasing them.
General Pest Control You Can Count On
Most pest problems in northeast Georgia are not one-time events. Our long warm season, heavy summer rain, and the wooded lots and lake properties that make this area a great place to live also give ants, spiders, roaches, silverfish, earwigs, and crickets somewhere to breed all year. You can knock a problem down with a single treatment, but the pressure from the yard, the woods, and the crawl space never stops. That is why the same pests keep showing up in the same room every spring.
Our general pest control program is built around prevention. We treat the exterior of your home on a regular schedule so pests are stopped at the perimeter before they get inside, and we treat indoors whenever you are seeing activity. Most customers choose a monthly or quarterly plan, both with no long-term contract. Kilz Pest Control is locally owned, licensed, and insured, and we serve Gainesville, Clarkesville, Cornelia, Toccoa, Dahlonega, Cleveland, Helen, Jefferson, Lavonia, Hartwell, Demorest, and every community in between.

What General Pest Control Covers
Catching a problem early makes treatment faster, cheaper, and less disruptive.
Ants and trailing insects
Odorous house ants, Argentine ants, and other trailing species that come in through the foundation, around pipes, and under door sweeps.
Spiders, silverfish, and earwigs
The occasional invaders that live in mulch, leaf litter, and crawl spaces and wander inside when the weather turns.
Roaches and crickets
American roaches and camel crickets that move up from crawl spaces and garages, especially in older homes and damp basements.
Seasonal pushes
Stink bugs and ladybugs in fall, mice looking for warmth in winter, and the spring ant surge after the first heavy rains.
Our Approach
How Our Monthly and Quarterly Plans Work
Every plan starts with a free inspection. We walk the exterior and interior, find the entry points and harborage areas specific to your property, and build the treatment around what we actually find rather than spraying the same thing everywhere. You get a written quote before any work begins.
On each visit we treat the exterior perimeter with a liquid barrier, knock down webs and wasp starts around the eaves, refresh crack and crevice applications at entry points, and check for new gaps or conditions that could let pests in. If you are seeing anything inside, we treat interior areas on that visit at no extra charge. We also adjust products and focus areas by season, with overwintering pests in fall and ant pressure in spring.
Choose monthly for the heaviest protection, which suits homes bordering woods or water, properties with a history of recurring problems, and anyone who wants activity handled before it is ever noticeable. Choose quarterly for four visits a year, which keeps most homes in our area comfortably pest-free. Either way, if pests show up between scheduled visits, we come back at no additional cost, and you can cancel anytime.

Questions about general pest control?
(706) 754-6248General Pest Control Across Northeast Georgia
Pest pressure is not the same across our service area. Homes backing up to woods around Helen, Cleveland, and Dahlonega see far more spiders, camel crickets, and occasional invaders than an open subdivision lot. Lake properties near Lanier and Hartwell deal with constant moisture and the insects it brings. Older homes in Clarkesville, Toccoa, and Cornelia have more gaps and crawl space access points than newer construction. A plan schedule that is right for one is not right for the other.
We will tell you honestly whether monthly or quarterly makes sense for your property instead of selling you the bigger plan by default. Call (706) 754-6248 for a free inspection.

General Pest Control: Common Questions
Should I choose a monthly or quarterly pest control plan?
Quarterly works well for most homes in northeast Georgia and covers the four seasonal pest pushes. Monthly makes more sense if your property borders woods or water, if you have had recurring problems, or if you simply do not want to see any activity between visits. We will give you an honest recommendation after the free inspection.
What pests does general pest control cover?
The program covers common household pests including ants, spiders, roaches, silverfish, earwigs, crickets, millipedes, and other occasional invaders. Termites, bed bugs, and wildlife are separate services, though plan customers get a discount on those add-ons.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. Our monthly and quarterly plans have no long-term contract and you can cancel anytime. We would rather earn your business every visit than lock you into an agreement.
What if pests come back between visits?
We come back and re-treat at no additional cost. That is included in every plan. If the treatment did not hold, that is on us to fix, not something you should pay twice for.
Do you have to come inside every time?
No. Most of the work is done outside, and many customers do not need us indoors at all once the exterior barrier is established. If you are seeing something inside, we treat interior areas on that visit at no extra charge. You do not need to be home for exterior service.
Are the treatments safe for children and pets?
Yes. We choose products with families and pets in mind and apply them as a licensed applicator. We tell you which products we are using and give you a re-entry time, which is usually just waiting until the treatment has dried.
